SF3D OC Gathering Vol. X

SF3D OC Gathering is a name for overclocking events, which are organized and held in Finland. Every year the idea of event is the same >> to have fun in finnish summer and do some overclocking at the same time.

This year I chosed to have this event in the middle of July, cause my family will get one more person in August, so I need to stay home all the time. That was the reason we were not able to do this event during Assembly summer 2012.
Actually this event was way more better than the previous ones during Assembly events in 2010 and 2011, so it was not a problem in the end. I think all the overclocker were thinking the same as Assembly event is too hot and humid and there is too much distraction for overclocking. The results have been bad every year, even though the crowd have enjoyed the show anyway.

Thursday 12th of July - Summerplace

On Thursday all the people who took part to this event arrived and they were transported to my summer place, which is located 35km from Tampere. The weather prediction was not good at all, but we did not bother about that. The sun started to shine after few drinks like always.
This year there was few new faces taking part to this event and the ones who were here are these guys: Massman, Stummerwinter, Giorgioprimo, Ryba, Neoforce, Pofigist, Pepinorang, Sampsa, Junksu, Macci and me.

Why do we go there every year? Well, new overclockers who have never been in Finland need something to remember after event. This is a good way to relax and get known to each other. No one can say, that they don't know each other after this party in summerplace.

So first Massman poured the Polish Vodka in to the small cups and we were ready to start! We had to wait few hours before the rest of the group would be there, so we emptied the first liter by ourselves.

After a while rest of the group came and we were able to start eating, drinking and go to sauna and swim. The evening was a success and the thunder storm in dark sky finished it before it was too late. Water was warm and sauna even warmer. I have no idea how it happened, but the guests drank almost 4 liters of Vodka and 100 cans of beer during the party. Hmm..there goes our health!
